Job Placement Employment and Training (JPET)

Are you 15-21 years old?

At Campbell Page we can help you find solutions to your personal problems. We have a free service for young people who need some genuine help or some genuine advice.

Called Job Placement Employment & Training (JPET), this programme provides free support and counselling to help young people 15-21 years who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless to "get back on track".

We can assist you with:

Youth Pathways

Are you 13-19 years old?

Youth Pathways is a free program to assist young people aged 13 - 19 to make the transition through school and from school to further education, training and employment. This includes guidance that focuses on the skills and knowledge required to enhance future career opportunities.

We can assist you with:

  • Personal one-to one assistance to work out strengths, goals and the barriers getting in your way;
  • Individual support and guidance to help you to overcome barriers;
  • Support to help you achieve your goals; and
  • Other services aimed at making you better equipped to successfully get through school and make your transition from school to further education, training and employment.

Campbell Page can assist if you are:

  • Struggling at school?
  • Thinking of leaving school without finishing year 12 or have left school recently without finishing year 12; or not sure;
  • Does you any of the following apply to you: Personal factors such as medical conditions, disabilities, substance abuse, poor self esteem/depression, poor social skills, poor discipline or inability to conform to school standards

Links to Learning

Links is a creative and practical program to assist young people who have left school early or are thinking of leaving school early and need help to get into further education, training and employment.

Links to Learning provides a high degree of individual support to participants in an informal setting.

We can assist you with:

  • Time and resource management
  • Communication techniques
  • Learning to learn

Youth Centres

Campbell Page operates two youth centres in the Eurobodalla Shire and Eden-Monaro Shire. The Youth Centres are a safe and welcoming place for young people aged between 10yrs and 16yrs. The Youth Centres provide a fully supervised facility that offers young people a place that can enhance their independence, safety, self esteem and/or quality of life within our community.

Moruya and Eden Youth Centres provide structured programs and unstructured social activities identified byyoung people. It is a place where young people can hang out with friends, use the computer, play pool, play video games or just sit and relax. Our structured programs are varied and may include cooking, guitar lessons, games, beauty work, arts and crafts, health talks and/or somewhere young people can do some homework. We also offer holiday activities during school holidays, which can be local excursions to places of interest.

Connections

Connections is a program for 13 to 19 year olds which provides individually tailored flexible accredited Education and Training to young people. This program may also provide social and life skills, career advice and appropriate referral to other services.

The aim of the program is to provide an integrated and holistic approach to supporting disconnected young people and is underpinned by developing and maintaining effective Community Partnerships.

The Program will be based at the Eden Youth Centre, Goulburn and Batemans Bay and will be available 5 days per week within regular business hours, but will provide flexible learning hours and opportunities to the participants.

Medium Term Housing

Campbell Page's support of communities extends to assistance with medium term housing. This program offers a medium term housing service that is funded by Campbell Page and partnered with Eurobodalla Community Housing.

The service provides 2 houses which can house 4 young people, aged between 16 - 21 yrs of age, for up to 12 months.
