Would you like to make a difference for a family with young children?
Our Families NSW program assists parents who are caring for infants and young children aged between 0 to 3 years of age by providing parenting information, reduce the isolation of the family and strengthen the connections between communities and families.
Volunteers can assist families to develop supportive networks, become a support and helping hand and assist families to build on existing skills and encourage confidence.
As a Volunteer you will:
- Visit selected families of the program on a weekly basis.
- Receive specially developed induction material for volunteers.
- Receive ongoing training and development based on the support needs of families.
- Have access to user friendly policies and procedures.
- Have access to professional support and supervision.
